Hospitality Sales Director
Exciting Opportunity: Sales Director at Hotel Management and Consulting!
You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing accounts, and implementing sales strategies that shift the hotel from underperforming to budget-beating. - Salary: Dependent on experience, $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 .

Primary Duties
- Manage new hotel sales opening strategy that aligns with revenue management and hotel objectives in exceeding budgetary goals.
- Quickly engage with underperforming markets and at-risk segments.
- Respond to all sales inquiries – written, verbal, email, and phone – with sense of urgency.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
- Prospect, qualify, and close high-value accounts through proactive outreach.
- Nurture and grow existing client relationships to maximize repeat business.
- Develop customized proposals and packages to meet client needs.
- Conduct market analysis to identify untapped segments and competitive opportunities.
- Deepen relationships with existing accounts to increase length of stay and repeat bookings.
- Create and execute a turnaround plan focused on high impact market niches.
- Mentor on-property operations teams to align sales strategies and deploy against local market.
- Collaborate with sales team through transparency and high-level communication on target markets.
- Compile sales reports as required.
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years hospitality sales experience, preferably in extended stay.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Communication skills are utilized for a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with guests, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the company.
- Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing paperwork and management reports, interpreting results, giving and receiving instructions, and training.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math, budgeting, profit/loss concepts, percentages, and variances are utilized frequently.
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivational, organizational and training abilities are used often.
- Ability to travel and attend workshops, tradeshows, and conventions, etc.
- May be required to travel or work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear.
- This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
