Regional Dry Van Company Driver (W-2) - Rome, GA

Join American Trucking Group as a Regional Dry Van Driver and benefit from being home weekly for a 34-hour reset.

Job Overview:

• Work primarily with dry van freight, with 95% no-touch and 85% drop and hook, minimizing physical effort.
• Average weekly earnings between $1,150 and $1,500 based on your mileage and performance.
• Operating areas include GA, FL, SC, NC, TN, and AL.

Trucking Fleet:

• Drive our late-model International Pro Stars, Freightliner Cascadias, and Kenworth trucks, all equipped with 1,500-watt inverters and the Opti-Idle system for heating and cooling.
• Drivers may take their truck and trailer home if a secure parking area is available.

Benefits Package:

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance starts on the first of the month after 60 days of employment.
• $20,000 in company-paid life insurance, vacation pay, and a 401(k) with a 50% match up to 3%.
• A passenger policy is available after 30 days, with age restrictions based on the season.

Additional Compensation:

• Detention pay based on customer policy, layover pay at $12/hour after the first hour, and an annual safety bonus of $0.01 per mile for accident-free performance.
• All tolls are covered via EZ Pass and toll cards.

Orientation:

• Orientation lasts three days from Tuesday to Thursday and is held at various locations, with transportation, hotel accommodations, and meals provided.

Requirements
