Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Research RN - Research Infusion Nurse Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of clinical research studies involving infusion therapy. You will work closely with physicians, research staff, and patients to ensure the successful execution of research protocols and the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of clinical research studies involving infusion therapy, including patient recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up

- Collaborate with physicians and research staff to develop and implement research protocols

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding the research study and infusion therapy

- Conduct patient assessments and administer infusion therapy according to research protocols and standard nursing practices

- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and report any concerns to the research team

- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all patient interactions and study procedures

- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and ethical standards related to clinical research

- Participate in data collection and analysis, and assist with the preparation of study reports

- Act as a liaison between the research team, patients, and other healthcare professionals

- Stay current on developments in infusion therapy and clinical research, and participate in continuing education opportunities

Qualifications:

- Current RN license and BSN degree

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical research and infusion therapy

- Knowledge of research protocols and regulatory requirements

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

- Proficient in computer applications and electronic medical record systems
