Bilingual Medical Front Desk/Receptionist

In this vital role, you'll manage patient check-in/out, efficiently handle appointment scheduling, verify insurance, and provide essential billing support. The ability to communicate in both English and Spanish. Your exceptional communication skills and commitment to patient confidentiality will ensure a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors. Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
  • Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
  • Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient flow.
  • Provide patients with necessary forms and information.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments efficiently using practice management software.
  • Manage provider schedules, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimizing wait times.
  • Confirm appointments with patients via phone, email, or text.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
  • Obtain necessary pre-authorizations or referrals.
  • Assist patients with insurance-related questions.
  • Maintain organized patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take messages accurately.
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues courteously and efficiently.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency with medical office software (e.g., EHR systems, scheduling software).
  • Proficient understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent customer service orientation.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.
