Bilingual Medical Front Desk/Receptionist

education: High School Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
- Schedule follow-up appointments and manage patient flow.
- Provide patients with necessary forms and information.
- Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments efficiently using practice management software.
- Manage provider schedules, ensuring optimal patient flow and minimizing wait times.
- Confirm appointments with patients via phone, email, or text.
- Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments.
- Obtain necessary pre-authorizations or referrals.
- Assist patients with insurance-related questions.
- Maintain organized patient charts and electronic health records (EHR).
- Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take messages accurately.
- Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues courteously and efficiently.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Proven experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
- Proficiency with medical office software (e.g., EHR systems, scheduling software).
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service orientation.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.

- Insurance Verification (2 years of experience is required)
- Patient Check In (2 years of experience is required)
