Sr. Java Developer with GCP

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Java Developer with GCP for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA. This role requires strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot) and Google Cloud Platform to build, deploy, and maintain APIs and data pipelines on GCP services .

Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Java Developer with GCP job responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot, microservices, and RESTful APIs.

• Build and manage cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform, leveraging services such as Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.

• Implement and optimize batch processing workflows to handle large-scale data efficiently.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability through best practices and code reviews.

• Support CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins to enable automated build, test, and deployment processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development with cloud-based solutions.

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud SQL.

• Proven experience designing and implementing microservices architectures and batch processing systems using Spring Boot and APIs .

Pay Details: $53.00 to $56.00 per hour
