Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care to adult patients in a Progressive Care Unit, focusing on intermediate acuity needs
- Monitor patient status, interpret telemetry, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer prescribed medications, manage IV therapies, and assist with invasive procedures as assigned
- Develop and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team; document in the electronic health record
- Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with case management for appropriate transfers or transitions of care
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and quality of care through careful assessment, timely documentation, and adherence to evidence-based practices

Requirements
- Min of 2 years of PCU/intermediate unit experience
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH Certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-acuity PCU environment
- PCU/Intermediate unit experience is required for this assignment
- Must be able to work in the listed travel setting and comply with applicable unit policies
