Mechanical Engineer, Intern - Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Research and development
- Assist in product testing and data capture and analysis
- Create test plans and conduct tests
- Mechanical design
- Create drawings of designed parts
- Design parts and assemblies
- BOM creation and costing
- Create items in PLM and ERP
- Build bill of materials (BOMs) and routings
- Research and enter part and manufacturing costs
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Junior or senior standing in accredited college or university mechanical engineering or similar program
- Ability to work in teams and independently to achieve technical and schedule requirements
- English proficiency – written and oral
