Social Services Technician 2 - Case Manager

Georgia Pines Thomas County Mental Health Outpatient programis currently seekinga real leader, someone who has the passion, commitment, talent, and ability to work collaboratively with their peersto continue to advance the mission and vision of the organization. The selected applicant will have the pleasure of providinga broad range of paraprofessional social services to patients/clients/consumers and their families. In addition with conductingpatient/client/consumer intakes, participates in treatment team planning, and performs crisis intervention. Additionally, the applicant mayassistin dealing with personal and social problems. Select applicant may provide supportive counseling to consumers and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services and perform case management duties. This position is an integral part of the agency's Outpatient Mental Health programand reports directly to the ThomasCounty Mental HealthTeam Leadwith appropriate latitude for utilizing seasoned judgment to accomplish his/her responsibilities. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two years' experience in a social services related position Or Bachelor's degree in a social services related field Or One year at the lower level or position equivalent.
