Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete AR cycle: invoicing, payment collections, cash application, and reconciliation of receivables
• Analyze, monitor, and report on AR aging to drive action on overdue accounts and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
• Collaborate directly with sales, customer service, and internal stakeholders to resolve billing disputes, quality concerns, and escalation issues
• Supervise and mentor AR staff—assign workloads, coach performance, conduct training, and drive departmental goals
• Ensure that all AR processes comply with internal controls and accounting standards
• Forecast cash flow, prepare monthly/quarterly AR reports, and support financial planning initiatives
• Engage with auditors and handle third-party collections or bad-debt cases as needed
• Identify process improvement opportunities—system upgrades, automation, reporting enhancements—and lead initiatives accordingly

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus
• 5+ years of progressive experience in AR or finance roles, including supervisory experience
• Strong proficiency with accounting software and Excel; familiarity with ERP systems and automation tools preferred
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate across functions and resolve conflicts diplomatically.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering, or global operations settings.
• Exposure to multi-currency AR, ERP implementation, or complex billing models.
• Understanding of manufacturing supply chain and customer account structures
