Emergency Center RN
- Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with organizational values, mission, and vision
- Maintain current knowledge in areas of responsibility through self-education and attending educational programs
- Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and competency evaluations
- Provide care to patients of all ages, demonstrating competency based on patient needs
- Follow hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary
- Associate Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or must obtain within 1 year of hire)
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Georgia license
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) (must be obtained within 2 years of hire)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must be obtained within 2 years of hire)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with basic computer proficiency
- 1–2 years of ER experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Base salary: $37–$46/hour
- Critical care pay: $5/hour
- Night shift differential: $5/hour
- Weekend shift differential: $3.50/hour
