Friendly Express Inc. is looking for an HR Generalist. The HR Generalist duties involve a wide range of support inside our HR department. An important part of the HR Generalist will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. HR Generalist skills we’re looking for include: excellent organization ability, the ability to multitask, meet deadlines and strong communication skills. The candidate should be able to work independently to ensure the HR department is organized and operates smoothly. Friendly Express, Inc. is willing to train the right candidate. This is a Full Time position and pay is based on experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties
Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities
Deal with employee requests regarding human resource issues
HR Data Entry
Assist with weekly payroll
Manage insurance eligibility and ACA requirements
Tracking of Leave of Absence status
Digital record keeping
Requirements:Experience in Microsoft Suite (Word and Excel Required)
Basic knowledge of labor laws (Preferred)
Excellent organizational skills
Strong communications skills
Experience in Human Resources (Preferred)
Experience with Insurance & Benefits
Confidentiality to company and employee sensitive information
Must have the ability to read and write and basic math skills
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time, bend and reach, push, pull or lift up to 25pounds
