Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pedodontist to join our esteemed dental family. As a Pedodontist at our family of practices, you will provide specialized dental care to children and adolescents. Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating pediatric dental conditions, educating young patients and their families about proper oral hygiene, and ensuring a positive dental experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations for pediatric patients to assess their oral health.
- Diagnose and treat dental issues specific to children, ensuring a comfortable and positive experience.
- Perform dental procedures such as cleanings, fluoride treatments, fillings, and extractions with precision and care.
- Educate patients and parents about proper oral hygiene practices and preventive dental care.
- Collaborate effectively with our team of dentists, dental hygienists, and support staff to deliver seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records in compliance with regulations.
- Enjoy the opportunity to transition to an equity position after a 24-36 month period, reflecting your dedication and contributions to our practice.
- Benefit from a patient base with a manageable percentage (10-15% or less) of Medicaid cases, ensuring a balanced and sustainable practice environment.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from an accredited dental school.
- Completion of a pediatric dentistry residency program.
- Board certification in pediatric dentistry.
- State license to practice dentistry and pediatric dentistry in Georgia.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to pediatric dental care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
