Concierge / Security Officer (Hospitality Venue - Upscale Lounge/Nightlife

• Conduct bag checks and monitor entry to ensure guest safety
• Verify IDs and control access points as required
• Maintain a visible and professional presence at the entrance
• Greet guests while enforcing venue policies and safety standards
• Monitor crowd flow and report any suspicious or disruptive behavior
• Respond quickly and appropriately to incidents or concerns
• Work closely with management and staff to maintain a smooth operation
• Conduct visual inspections for prohibited items in accordance with venue policy
• De-escalate guest conflicts while maintaining professionalism and control
• Monitor intoxication levels and assist staff in maintaining a safe environment
• Enforce dress code and venue rules consistently and respectfully
• Support crowd control during peak hours, special events, and closing times
• Complete incident reports with accuracy and detail when necessary
• Coordinate with local law enforcement or emergency services if required

Requirements

• Previous security, nightlife, or hospitality experience preferred
• Strong awareness, confidence, and ability to manage high-traffic environments
• Professional demeanor with the ability to be firm and respectful
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and remain alert
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
• Strong situational awareness and quick decision-making skills
• Comfortable enforcing rules and setting boundaries with guests
• Availability for late nights, weekends, and holidays (required)
• Ability to handle confrontational situations with professionalism
• Prior experience with ID verification and bag check procedures is a plus
