Lab Technician
Roles & Responsibilities
- Set up test equipment and execute protocols for testing prototype samples.
- Conduct measurements, record results, and note observations accurately.
- Assist in determining causes of failures during testing.
- Create and maintain lab documentation in compliance with GMP.
- Support prototype assembly and general lab maintenance.
- Follow all safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
- Work overtime as required to meet business needs.
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
Experience Required
- Minimum of 4 years of laboratory experience with a high school diploma
OR 1 year of lab experience with an AS degree
OR BS degree in a scientific discipline. - Experience following established procedures and GMP standards.
- Ability to set up and operate laboratory testing equipment.
Skills & Certifications
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Time management and organizational ability.
- Ability to follow diagrams and analyze/evaluate charts.
- Basic arithmetic proficiency.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel preferred.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- High school diploma + 4 years technical/lab experience, or
- Associate degree (AS) + 1 year lab experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree (BS) in a scientific/technical discipline.
