  • Lead the overall commercial business unit with full accountability for revenue, profitability, operational performance, and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies that expand market presence and drive long-term business success.
  • Manage the Commercial P&L, leveraging pricing, fees, discounts, and operational efficiencies to maximize profitability.
  • Partner with executive leadership to establish strategic priorities, performance goals, and organizational initiatives.

  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain scalable processes and standard operating procedures that ensure consistent execution and exceptional results.
  • Mentor and develop future leaders while fostering professional growth throughout the organization.

Client & Project Delivery

  • Oversee all aspects of commercial interior design projects from concept through installation and project closeout.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations and company standards.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, stakeholders, and partners while cultivating long-term relationships.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts, providing strategic direction and innovative solutions to complex project challenges.

Procurement & Financial Oversight

  • Optimize procurement processes, including bidding, budgeting, vendor negotiations, and quotation review.
  • Strengthen vendor and supplier partnerships to improve efficiency, quality, and cost management.
  • Monitor project financial performance and ensure alignment with profitability objectives.
  • Oversee quality control initiatives, site inspections, and punch-list reviews to ensure successful project completion.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within commercial interior design, workplace, hospitality, healthcare, multi-family, or related commercial markets.

  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, forecasting, profitability, and P&L performance.
  • Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance long-term vision and day-to-day execution.
  • Strong organizational and operational leadership capabilities.
  • Proficiency with project management platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ideal Background

  • Executive, Vice President, Managing Director, Principal, or Senior Leadership experience within commercial interiors, architecture, design-build, workplace, hospitality, healthcare, or related industries.
