Key Responsibilities:

• Sand Blasting:
  - Operate sand blasting equipment safely and effectively to clean and prepare metal parts.
  - Maintain proper pressure and material flow for consistent surface finishes.
  - Inspect parts for proper cleaning and ensure no damage during the process.
• Press Brake Operation:
  - Set up and operate press brakes to bend, form, and fabricate metal components.
  - Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine required machine settings and tooling.
  - Inspect parts for accuracy and adjust machines as needed.
• Welding:
  - Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and other metals.
  - Prepare and fit components, ensuring proper alignment and quality welds.
  - Inspect and finish welds to meet quality standards, including grinding and polishing.
• Final Assembly:
  - Assemble custom equipment using hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
  - Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
  - Verify that assembled equipment meets all specifications.
• General Responsibilities:
  - Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
  - Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  - Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
  - Assist in cross-training and support other areas of production as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical school training a plus).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing, metal fabrication, or related industrial environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
• Strong measurement skills, including reading a tape measure to 1/32” accuracy and using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Experience operating press brakes, welding (TIG), and sand blasting equipment.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and machinery.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to cross-train and adapt to changing production needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 lbs for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination for precision tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in custom equipment assembly and stainless-steel fabrication.
• Welding certifications (AWS or equivalent) a plus.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a manufacturing shop environment. Employees are required to follow all safety protocols, including wearing PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots.
