Job Duties:
As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and reimbursement for medical services. Your duties will include:

• Reviewing and verifying patient information and insurance coverage.
• Coding medical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10 and other coding systems.
• Submitting claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail.
• Following up on unpaid, denied and outstanding claims.
• Resolving billing discrepancies and answering patient inquiries.
• Maintaining patient records and confidentiality.
• Collaborating with medical office staff to ensure proper documentation and billing practices.
• Assisting with medical collections as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, coding, and billing procedures.
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and other coding systems.
• Familiarity with medical records management systems (preferably eClinicalWorks).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Knowledge of medical collection processes.
• Understanding of DRG (Diagnosis Related Group) coding.
• Fluency in English and one of the following languages: Chinese, Vietnamese, or Korean.
