Position: Business Analyst
Location: Alpharetta, GA (Onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Business Analyst to join our team, supporting enterprise initiatives for Equifax. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear requirements, smooth delivery, and effective communication across projects.
This role requires strong onsite presence in the Atlanta area , deep domain experience in manufacturing environments , and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Spanish language proficiency is a strong plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements and processes
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to define project scope and objectives
- Create functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and documentation
- Perform gap analysis , identify process improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions
- Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)activities
- Track project progress, risks, and issues; provide regular status updates to stakeholders
- Assist with change management and ensure effective communication across business and technical teams
- Work onsite and engage directly with business users and leadership
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT or enterprise environments
- Strong experience in manufacturing domain (mandatory)
- Proven experience working in onsite, client-facing roles
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Visio , or similar tools
- Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to translate complex business needs into clear technical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish-speaking candidates highly preferred
- Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance (BFSI)domains
- Knowledge of data analysis, SQL, or reporting tools
- BA certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA are a plus
