Manufacturing Supervisor

The Manufacturing Supervisor actively supervises and coordinates the activities of team workers engaged in production and oversees the daily production operations. This position ensures the health and safety of the team across shifts, establishes, and coordinates departmental activities to meet objectives in alignment with plant goals, and reports directly to the Production Manager. They are also responsible fortroubleshooting any issues that arise, provide technical expertise for complex issues, ensure effective, and efficient production flow. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily production activities and provide guidance to the team.
- Ensure that health and safety regulations are always followed.
- Collaborate with the Production Manager to implement departmental strategies.
- Conduct performance evaluations and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.
- Check the quality of the products being produced to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Identify inefficiencies and suggest improvements. • Collaborate with other supervisors and staff to optimize productivity and efficiency.
- Elevated personnel issues must be managed in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Daily approvals and posting of labor in both ROI and D365 are necessary as well as the pay period time sheets.
- Manage 6S activities.
- Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees
- Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
- Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure adherence to manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
- Uphold H.R. policies, processes, and procedures.
- Review and manage scrap disposal with effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Train, coach, and develop department employees.
- Maintain training and professional development levels associated with modern manufacturing and management.
- Optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing costs.
- Ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels.

- Excellent organizational, communication, and written skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Capable of moderate physical work, standing for extended periods, and occasional heavy lifting.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop team members.
- ERP experience knowledge in D365 a plus.
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Typically possesses 3-8 years of experience in a technical and/or manufacturing environment.
