Role Overview
We are seeking a US-based Technical Partner to serve as a trusted, on-call presence across select client engagements. This is not a traditional development role. You will not be assigned sprint tickets, handed a backlog, or expected to deliver production code under deadline pressure.
Instead, you will act as a credible, available technical voice, someone who can review work, validate technical decisions, and communicate professionally within your area of expertise. Your primary value is your reliability, your location, and your ability to engage clearly when called upon.
This role is designed for professionals who are already employed, independently contracting, or otherwise not seeking full-time work. And who want a structured, low-commitment income stream that respects their existing obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Serve as an on-call technical presence on assigned client accounts
* Review, validate, and provide feedback on technical work within your stack
* Fulfill compliance and verification requirements for US-based freelancing platforms, including availability confirmations and identity verification steps
* Maintain asynchronous communication availability, responsiveness expected within reasonable business hours, no set schedule required
* Engage professionally with clients or internal team members when technical clarification is needed
Required Qualifications
* Must be a US citizen currently residing in the United States
* Working knowledge of modern software development tools and practices (frontend, backend, or full-stack)
* Comfortable operating in an asynchronous, low-touch communication environment
* Reliable, professional, and responsive, able to follow through on light commitments
* Open to platform verification tasks (as needed)
Preferred Qualifications
* Familiarity with one or more of the following: React, Vue, Python, Node.js, FastAPI, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, or REST API development
* Prior experience working in a freelance, contract, or remote capacity
* Comfortable navigating US-based freelancing platforms and their associated compliance workflows
Note: Technical seniority does not influence compensation. This role compensates for location, reliability, and professional availability - not technical depth or framework expertise.
