Opportunity:

RN - NICU Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Contract begins after 1/31/25
• Provide direct patient care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Deliver relationship-based patient centered care adapted to neonatal population characteristics
• Partner with patients' families and significant others for bedside shift reports and patient teaching
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews
• Complete timely documentation and maintain respectful clinical environment
• Must have Associates in Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, or Bachelor's in Nursing (preferred)
• Georgia RN license or Multi-state Compact RN license required
• BLS certification required upon hire
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required within 180 days
• Less than 1 year experience required with completion of accredited nursing school
• Direct patient care experience preferred
• Must possess strong critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Complete mandatory education and competency assessments
• Participate in evidence-based practice and performance improvement activities
