Accounts Receivable Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable Management:
- Verify all billing documents accurately.
- Generate and send invoices to customers in a timely manner.
- Accurately code and input receivable invoice information in customer SAP programs, when applicable.
- Maintain up-to-date customer accounts, ensuring credits are applied appropriately.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Issue customer statements monthly.
- Post payments to customer accounts.
Reporting & Financing Support:
- Prepare and monitor aging reports and summaries to track outstanding payments.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate with the Controller and other team members to resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively with field employees on billing related matters.
- Manage customer billing inquiries, payment requests, and disputes with professionalism, ensuring clear and prompt communication.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements:
- Associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related roles.
Technical Skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Access, and Excel a plus.
Core Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with customer service focus.
