Roadway Design Project Manager - Transportation Market

Responsibilities:

• Serve as an embedded Project Manager with GDOT, managing scope, schedule, and budget from the client's perspective
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and agency representatives to ensure successful project delivery
• Gain direct exposure to GDOT's internal project delivery processes
• Deliver roadway design, traffic operations, and/or safety studies for GDOT and municipal projects
• Prepare preliminary and final design plans, specifications, estimates (PS&E), and engineering reports
• Collaborate with city, county, and state officials to advance project approvals
• Mentor junior engineers on roadway design standards and support project delivery efforts

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of transportation engineering and roadway design experience
• Background in GDOT roadway projects
• Knowledge of design standards, PS&E preparation, and contract documents
• Experience coordinating with city, county, and state officials
