Travel Speech Language Pathologist Job

Healthforce by TLC
Cumming, GA
Step into a dynamic role as a Speech Language Pathologist in Georgia’s welcoming communities, starting in Cumming, where your expertise can transform communication outcomes for both children and adults. This is more than a position; it’s an opportunity to shape lives through evidence‑based assessment, thoughtful goal setting, and collaborative care. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, design individualized plans, and deliver high‑impact therapy that empowers patients to express themselves with confidence. You’ll partner with families, teachers, and healthcare teammates to create cohesive strategies that translate into real, measurable progress. This assignment invites you to apply your clinical skills across diverse settings, balancing patient needs with professional growth while you enjoy the unique charm of Georgia—from its scenic landscapes to its vibrant communities. Georgia’s beauty inspires both resilience and joy: the foothills of the north, the tranquil lakes that dot the state, and a culture rich with music, food, and outdoor adventures. Take elective days to explore nearby attractions, from state parks to historic towns, as you make a lasting difference in your patients’ communications and quality of life.

Location Benefits: Cumming blends suburban convenience with a close‑knit community feel, offering easy access to Atlanta’s cultural attractions, dining, and professional networks while maintaining a family‑friendly ambiance. Working here provides you with a strong local foundation and the opportunity to broaden your experience through assignments in various U.S. locations, enriching your clinical perspective and expanding your professional repertoire. The travel program is designed to maximize flexibility while preserving continuity of care, giving you the chance to experience new clinical environments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and build a robust portfolio of practice across pediatric, adult, and, where appropriate, feeding and swallowing specialties. Expect to enjoy supportive housing options and logistical resources that help you settle quickly so you can focus on delivering exceptional care from day one.

Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Speech Language Pathologist in this role, you will perform and interpret comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing evaluations; determine diagnoses and prognosis; develop, implement, and monitor evidence‑based treatment plans; and document progress in compliance with payer and regulatory requirements. You’ll work with pediatric and adult populations, adapting therapy to varying cognitive and linguistic needs, while incorporating augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) strategies when indicated. You’ll lead therapy sessions, provide parent and caregiver coaching, and collaborate with teachers, physicians, and other therapists to ensure seamless continuity of care. There is significant room for professional growth within this specialty, including opportunities to specialize in areas such as pediatric feeding and swallowing, AAC implementation, voice therapy, and neurogenic communication disorders. The role offers a competitive benefits package highlighted by a sign‑on or performance bonus, housing assistance or stipends, and extension opportunities to continue your contract if both client needs and your professional goals align. You’ll benefit from a comprehensive support network, including a dedicated travel liaison, on‑call assistance 24/7, and access to clinical resources and continuing education to keep you at the forefront of best practices. A robust onboarding process and mentorship options help you quickly integrate into the team and elevate your clinical impact.

Company Values: Our organization is grounded in a commitment to empowering clinicians, recognizing that your expertise drives outcomes and elevates patient care. We foster a culture of professional development, ongoing mentorship, and a collaborative, respectful environment where your ideas and contributions are valued. We support work‑life balance and invest in resources that help you thrive—physically, professionally, and personally—so you can advance in your career while maintaining the compassion and integrity that define exceptional speech language pathology practice.

Call to Action: If you are ready to bring your passion for communication science to a team that values your contributions and your growth, apply now. This is your chance to join a company that prioritizes clinical excellence, personal development, and compassionate patient care, while offering you the opportunity to impact diverse populations across Georgia and beyond. Start date anticipated: 03/16/2026 for a multi‑week assignment that guarantees meaningful hours and steady weekly compensation, with the potential for extension based on performance and client needs. Weekly pay ranges from $1,732 to $1,812, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. This is your moment to expand your professional horizon, collaborate with dedicated colleagues, and help patients communicate with confidence and independence.

Note: The hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
