Game Operations Manager

DescriptionAs a Game Operations Manager at our Geometry Dash–focused studio, you will oversee the operational performance of our live game services. Your role bridges technical execution, community engagement, and business goals—ensuring our games run smoothly, efficiently, and with an excellent player experience. You will work closely with development, analytics, and customer support teams to maintain stability, manage updates, and deliver engaging live content to our global player base. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations and performance of live game systems. Coordinate with development and QA teams to schedule patches, updates, and server maintenance. Monitor in-game data, player activity, and performance metrics to identify issues and optimize engagement. Manage in-game events, content rollout, and feature deployment across platforms. Develop processes for incident response and issue resolution to minimize downtime. Collaborate with analytics and marketing teams to align operations with community feedback and business objectives. Prepare performance reports, KPIs, and insights to inform strategic decisions. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Strong understanding of live service operations and digital game ecosystems. Proficient in data tracking, reporting, and operational workflows. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities across cross-functional teams. Preferred Skills Prior experience managing online or mobile games. Familiarity with Unity, C#, or similar engines. Experience with analytics platforms (Firebase, Unity Analytics, etc.). Knowledge of multiplayer systems, backend infrastructure, and user engagement strategies.
