Responsibilities:

● Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, srp, and other periodontic maintenance.

● Complete thorough assessments of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues.

● Document any abnormalities or suspected conditions.

● Customize care to meet patient's oral health needs.

● Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques.

● Aid the dentist with procedures and emergencies as needed.

● Maintain patient confidentiality.

● Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards.

Requirements:

● Be a graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene.

● Have a current Registered Dental Hygienist license in Georgia.

● Be willing to wear loupes.

● Possess excellent interpersonal skills.

● Remain dedicated to providing high quality, comprehensive dental care.

● Take ownership of compliance with safety procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

● Have a strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and practices
