IT Business Systems Analyst (COM)

Job Summary
We are looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst for Customer Order Management (COM) to analyze proposed process and data changes and be a team member involved in the design and implementation of technology solutions. This role is responsible for translating the business and functional requirements for each solution (the what) into the technical deliverables with the development team (the how).
Job Location
This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our office in Atlanta, GA.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Business Leaders, Solution Architect, IT development teams along with Scrum Master to ensure functional requirements are captured
- Gather and document detailed business requirements for small to moderate level projects
- Participate in Testing process through test case identification and execution
- Work to identify root cause and best fix of issues as they arise
- Develop a familiarity of the workings of APG business units to serve as the voice of the business customer to IT
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments daily to maintain positive communication/interaction
- Ensure that technology is configured in a way that supports business objectives and meets user needs
- Learn all modules of the software to the point of becoming an expert
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, Science, Engineering, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training and work-related experience in customer service, dispatch and/or pricing
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in requirements elicitation and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to multitask, take initiative and work independently while part of a team
- Excellent collaboration skills to work across several teams to arrive at the optimal solution design
- Background in IT Large System Applications support (Infor M3, Salesforce CPQ, Salesforce CRM, Oracle TMS platforms preferred)
- Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them to solutions
- Detail-oriented and analytical in nature, with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Project Management Methodologies (Agile/SAFe experience preferred) with experience using dev ops platforms (Service Now, Jira/Atlassian, MS Azure DevOps)
- Travel up to 25% to APG sites as projects deems necessary to engage the customer
