Travel Occupational Therapist Job
Occupational Therapist with a focus in outpatient rehabilitation is sought for a travel assignment in Cumming, Georgia. Start date is May 11, 2026, for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay ranges from $2,084 to $2,099, with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift is 10-hour days, four days per week. The position is in an outpatient rehabilitation department that provides physical, occupational, and speech-language therapies, including specialty services such as lymphedema therapy. Note: no local candidates within 50 miles. This is a travel - temporary assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC. Key Highlights

- Perform occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care for outpatient rehab patients.
- Implement OT interventions to improve activities of daily living, upper-extremity function, and mobility, within a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed and ensuring accurate clinical records.
- Collaborate with physical therapy and speech-language pathology colleagues to coordinate comprehensive, client-centered care.
- Provide patient and caregiver education on home exercise programs, activity modification, and self-management strategies.
- Support program offerings across specialty therapies present in the outpatient department, including lymphedema therapy when applicable. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Lymphedema certification required
- Ability to function effectively in an outpatient rehabilitation setting as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Travel assignment eligibility; readiness to work 10-hour shifts on a four-day schedule (hours may vary by department needs) Benefits and Support
