Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to serve as the technical expert for plant equipment. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position requires planning and coordinating maintenance activities while also performing detailed hands-on troubleshooting and repairs. A high level of technical expertise, organization, and attention to detail is expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems

• Perform electrical troubleshooting on motors, controls, sensors, VFDs, and power distribution (up to 480V)

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore production safely and efficiently

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime

• Identify root causes and recommend permanent corrective actions

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings

• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and line improvements

• Maintain accurate PM and maintenance documentation

• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout

• Coordinate with production, engineering, and outside contractors

• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (motors, relays, sensors, controls)

• Mechanical experience with bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, presses, and pumps

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation

Preferred Experience

• Mechanical power presses and coil feed lines

• CNC machining centers

• Laser and water jet cutting equipment

• PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems

• CMMS experience (Eptura preferred)

• Technical or trade school background
