Ambassador Personnel is currently hiring a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator for a fast-paced warehouse environment in Suwanee, GA. This position is ideal for candidates with stand-up forklift and cherry picker experience who are safety-focused, detail-oriented, and open to working in various areas of the warehouse as needed.

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment including stand-up forklifts and cherry pickers to load, unload, move, and store materials. This role supports daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, put-away, and shipping activities. Once trained, the majority of the day will be spent operating equipment, with occasional support required in other areas of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate stand-up forklifts, cherry pickers, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Load and unload trucks, materials, and deliveries
• Move product to and from storage areas, racks, and staging locations
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners or pick sheets
• Verify product accuracy and inspect for damages or discrepancies
• Assist with receiving, stocking, inventory counts, and general warehouse duties
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintain logs
• Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Participate in daily team meetings and communicate with supervisors as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of stand-up forklift and/or cherry picker experience required (2+ years preferred)
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and obtain certification if needed
• Experience with RF scanners and basic computer skills preferred
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, safety rules, and instructions
• Basic math skills required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

• Fast-paced, same-day shipping warehouse environment
• Warehouse is not climate controlled (can be hot in summer)
• May be noisy at times
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs with assistance
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting required
• Steel toe shoes required
• Must be able to wear required PPE (gloves, safety glasses, etc.)

Schedule & Pay:

• Monday–Friday (shift may vary between 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
• Overtime may be required, including extended hours or weekends
• Pay rate: $18.00/hour
• Opportunity for pay increase upon full-time conversion
