The Opportunity
We are recruiting a Software Developer to join our Abbott Heart Failure team in Atlanta, GA, where we are focused on helping people with heart failure manage their health and ultimately change and save lives. The developer will be primarily working on our next generation cross-platform app with releases on Android and iOS platforms. The developer should be a self-starter, avid learner and have a passion for mobile application development. The person should also have strong fundamentals centered around software development paradigms such as OOP and SOLID principles. Experience developing apps with Flutter is a plus.
What You'll Work On

Understanding of OOP, SOLID, APIs and MVVM

Passion for learning new skillsets

Learn and develop mobile applications with Flutter

Write unit and integration tests

Write technical documentation including but not limited to software detailed design and technical review documents

Excellent verbal and written communication

Code reviews
Required Qualifications *: *

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or closely related discipline

2+ years Software development experience
-
Proficiency with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab, etc.) and collaborative development workflows
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience developing mobile applications via Flutter with Dart language is a plus
-
Strong knowledge of software development processes and methodologies
-
CI/CD and SDLC experience
-
Ability to work within a team and as a high performing individual contributor in a fast-paced, agile environment
-
AI experience is a plus

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 - $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
