Overview
MRI Technologist – Radiology in a hospital travel assignment located in Cumming, Georgia. Start date: June 1, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 per week. Weekly pay: $2,183–$2,353. Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations across adult, pediatric, and specialty patient populations following department protocols.
- Operate the 720F MRI system, optimizing imaging parameters and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare and position patients, monitor during scans, and ensure patient safety, comfort, and consent throughout the imaging process.
- Document procedures and patient data in the Cerner system; verify orders and track imaging results.
- Support ED, inpatient, and outpatient services with MRI imaging as needed; assist with Breast Biopsy Exams per protocol.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other radiology team members to ensure timely, accurate exams and patient care.

Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience in a clinical setting
- Proficiency with Cerner or comparable EMR systems
- Ability to work in a hospital-based imaging department and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work a 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. day schedule and travel requirements for the assignment
