Position: Experienced Automotive Service Technician

Location: Savannah

About the Role:
J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is seeking experienced automotive service technicians to join our team. This position is not an entry-level or quick-lube role . We are looking for professionals who have a strong background in vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair across a variety of makes and models.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on customer vehicles.

• Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections, and quality checks.

• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding repairs, timelines, and costs.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Keep accurate records of all services performed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems: engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, and electrical.

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, including use of computerized diagnostic tools.

• Ability to read and interpret service manuals, schematics, and technical bulletins.

• Proficient in performing complex repairs and maintenance tasks with accuracy and efficiency.

• Good communication skills for working with service advisors, team members, and customers.

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to maintain a safe work environment.

• ASE certification(s) preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to pass background/MVR and hold a valid driver's license

• Age 19 years or older
