The Assistant Registrar is responsible for supporting the Registrar and the mission of the Registrar’s Office. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to, correcting enrollment and/or registration errors, processing No Show and Non-Payment status students, assisting with Banner beginning and end of term processing, registration, withdrawals, drop/adds, graduation, various error reporting and corrections, and other duties as assigned by the Registrar. Candidates should have a considerable understanding of the Student Information System, Banner. The Assistant Registrar will provide the leadership and in-field expertise to assist the Registrar and Vice President of Enrollment Management in attaining the college’s institutional goals. They must represent the college in a manner which supports the values, mission, goals, and standard of professional conduct associated with the Technical College System of Georgia.

Summary Of Working Conditions - Equipment Used: Standard office equipment.
- Working Conditions: Category III – No foreseen exposure to hazardous chemicals/pathogens. Probability of working beyond the normal shift, but not frequently. Periodic travel between major Wiregrass campuses and satellite sites.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency
recognized by the United States Department of Education *and* One (1) year of related experience.
Or
Associate’s Degree from an academic institution accredited by an institutional accrediting agency
recognized by the United States Department of Education *and* Three (3) years of related experience.
- Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge,
experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be
substituted on a year-over-year basis. *United States Department of Education (USDE).
Preferred Qualifications In addition to meeting all other minimum qualifications, the highly desired candidate will possess one or more of the following: Related work experience in a student records or Registrar’s office. Experience working in a post-secondary education setting is also a plus. Knowledge of BANNER student information software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with record software. Microsoft Office Experience, more especially with Excel.
Salary/Benefits Salary is $45,500/yr. This position is full‐time and includes standard State of GA benefits such as leave accrual, options for health & other supplemental benefits, and retirement. This position may qualify the successful candidate for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. This position is funded in whole or in part by State/Local/Tuition funds.
BACKGROUND INVESTIGATIONS
Pursuant to college policy, a thorough background investigation, including a criminal history records check and employment history reference checks will be performed for all candidates offered employment.
