Quality Control Inspector
Roles & Responsibilities
- Oversee order processing and quality checks on customer orders.
- Inspect and process brachytherapy seed orders according to specifications.
- Maintain records of inspections, orders, and discrepancies, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Coordinate with manufacturing facilities, outside vendors, and internal teams.
- Assist with obtaining complaint details and participate in complaint investigations and process improvements.
- Handle database management related to seed order processing and error tracking.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of customer service experience in medical devices.
- 3+ years of quality inspection experience preferred.
- Clinical or customer service experience in medical devices is advantageous.
Skills & Certifications
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interact with technical personnel.
- Basic math skills, including dose calculation and familiarity with statistics.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Eligibilities & qualifications
- Associate Degree preferred.
- Experience with JDE software is a plus.
- Ability to understand radioactive material characteristics and perform dose calculations, or quickly assimilate this knowledge.
