Manufacturing Engineer (Griffin)
Our client in the Athens, GA area is seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Assembly Engineer to join their team on a long-term contract basis.

Regular Working hours
Job DutiesAssist with pilot builds (first production run) on the Athens assembly line
Daily monitoring of assembly line. Must be available to provide front line assistance to help resolve any product problem on the assembly line.
Interrogate company's engineering drawings and 3D models to understand design requirements
Assist quality personnel with diagnosis and correct categorization of quality issues
Design and drawing release of minor tractor components and assemblies
Monitor and assist with implementation of running design changes Education/Experience
BS degree or higher in engineering
Experience with reading engineering drawings
Basic experience with 3D solid modeling and design of mechanical systems or components using Creo and Vis (or similar)
Basic hands-on mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn
Strong organization, communication, and technical skills
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capability
A good attitude with ability to work in and lead diverse teams
