Account Service Coordinator - Medical or Dental Benefits (Alpharetta)
Exciting contract Associate Account Services Coordinator opportunity with an established firm. This position will be hybrid and local to Alpharetta, GA.
Contract Duration: 12-Months
Required Skills & Experience
- High school diploma or GED Secretarial experience Insurance/dental experience preferred
- Detail oriented with problem-solving abilities
- Excellent phone skills and customer service skills knowledge and Application of English grammar including composition, editing and proofreading
- Ability to type 50 wpm
- Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking
- Has worked in a role that requires high attention to detail
- Will determine if a member has coverage or not - a very cut and dry project
- Great proofreading skills
- Ability to interpret and respond to customer emails
- Great organization and communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
Desired Skills & Experience
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Medical or Dental Benefits experience preferred.
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
- Maintains a solid understanding of the system configuration of customer benefit structure, products, and plan designs necessary to accurately process administrative and non-rated changes to existing business.
- Requests information and benefit highlight summaries related to the client.
- Collaborates with other functional areas to secure data for presentations or report generation as it relates to client inquiries or issues.
- Researches and pursues resolution of issues using systems and workflows, and communicates resolution back to the appropriate party.
- Ability to consistently interpret and summarize information from internal departments in a clear and concise manner to external customers.
- Supports open enrollment meetings and occasionally delivers presentations as required at customer locations and through virtual platforms.
- Supports special projects and miscellaneous responsibilities.
- Routes proposals to Account Executives; enters data into various databases and logs including ONYX Develops presentations proposals, benefit highlights, contact sheet creation, report generation
- Answer questions from brokers, groups, employees.
- Light Telephone support.
- Open enrollment determination reviews
