Sr Systems Engineer - Remote

In this pivotal role, you'll contribute significantly to the Global IT organization, ensuring the effective implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise infrastructure systems. You will engage with global teams to modernize legacy infrastructure and improve automation practices while aligning with ITIL-based standards. Your efforts will directly influence system availability and reliability, ultimately aiding the mission to enhance patient outcomes worldwide.

Accountabilities

• Implement and maintain infrastructure configurations according to best practices.
• Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure performance for potential issues.
• Conduct routine system maintenance and minimize disruption to operations.
• Utilize ITIL-based processes for efficient issue resolution.
• Collaborate to resolve complex incidents and escalated tickets.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support operations.
• Provide advanced technical support to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Promote automation to enhance IT systems' reliability.
• Stay updated on systems technology developments and innovations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in CIS, MIS, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of prior industry experience (Enterprise preferred).
• Experience with enterprise SAN/NAS technologies.
• Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, etc.).
• Proven experience in Linux/Windows installation and troubleshooting.
• Experience in multi-site datacenter operations.
• Relevant certification in support technology field.
