Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date: May 18, 2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,954 to $2,044. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases for OR patients.
- Assist surgeons and the anesthesia team, maintaining sterile technique and proper instrument handling.
- Monitor vital signs and anesthesia status; recognize and escalate changes promptly.
- Prepare the OR by ensuring equipment is ready, performing instrument counts, and labeling specimens.
- Maintain patient safety, comfort, and communication throughout the procedure; document intraoperative events accurately.
- Facilitate patient recovery and safe transfer or transport to the next care area per protocol.
- Collaborate with surgical team, nursing staff, and ancillary services to support efficient, safe operations.
- Participation in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage as assigned; uphold unit standards and evidence-based practice.

Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of assignment (Georgia) or eligibility per applicable requirements for travel assignments.
- OR experience; Level 1 trauma experience required.
- Burn experience preferred.
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
- Demonstrated strong clinical skills as evidenced by a skills checklist or equivalent evaluation.
- Ability to work in a high-acuity OR setting with a commitment to patient safety and team communication.
- Willingness to participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday coverage; no block scheduling as noted.
