Inventory Picker
Job Title: Inventory Picker
Location: Savannah, GA
Job Type: Full Time, Monday-Friday 5PM-Until
Schedule: 2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Picker to join our warehouse operations team. The Inventory Picker is responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring all orders are fulfilled efficiently and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on pick tickets or handheld scanners
- Verify product quantities and ensure correct items are selected
- Prepare and stage orders for packing and shipping
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or RF scanners as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience preferred
- Ability to read and interpret pick sheets or use scanning devices
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Basic math and counting skills
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
- Must be able to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs] consistently
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment (may include varying temperatures)
