About the Role
A well-established electrical contracting and engineering firm is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Document Management Administrative Professional to support project documentation across multiple job sites. This role is essential to keeping project records accurate, accessible, and compliant throughout the construction lifecycle.
This is an onsite role in Smyrna, GA and is temporary to hire.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain project documentation including contracts, drawings, RFIs, submittals, permits, and specifications
- Monitor document revisions and maintain up-to-date records through version control processes
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors to track documentation flow and deadlines
- Ensure documentation meets industry standards, client requirements, and internal protocols
- Prepare and distribute document packages and reports to internal teams and external stakeholders
- Provide general administrative support including scheduling, data entry, and digital filing
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of administrative or document control experience
- Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the construction or electrical contracting industry
- Familiarity with document control platforms such as Procore, SharePoint, or Bluebeam
- College degree
