Day Dispatcher

Working in a warehouse systems office, perform planned functions of all product flow through the finished goods warehouse that include order scheduling, dispatch, consolidation, cycle counting, and inventory control.

Day-to-Day Role:

• Schedule, route, and allocate outbound orders.
• Bill and close outbound orders.
• Schedule and process customer returns.
• Dispatch inbound and outbound trailers.
• Schedule consolidation moves for finished goods inventory.
• Schedule and perform cycle counts.
• Research inventory errors
• Investigate overages, shortages, and damage shipments.
• Create and close inbound orders.
• Communicate with other departments who have an impact on the finished goods inventory.
• Run SQL reports as needed
• Work on special projects as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Core Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:

• Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management System) and SAP or ERP (Enterprise Resource Tool).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
