Travel Radiology CT Tech Job

TLC Nursing
Lawrenceville, GA
Embark on a transformative journey as a Radiology CT Technologist in Lawrenceville, Georgia, where your expertise will illuminate patient care and drive precision in advanced imaging. This multi-week assignment invites you to bring technical mastery and compassionate service to a bustling imaging department, collaborating with radiologists, nurses, and support staff to deliver high-quality CT studies that inform critical clinical decisions. Your day-to-day impact will weave together image optimization, patient comfort, and rigorous safety standards, ensuring every slice tells a confident story. As you envision your professional leap, picture Georgia’s diverse appeal: the warmth of southern hospitality, the buzz of nearby Atlanta culture, rolling hills in the Piedmont, historic towns rich with charm, and easy access to outdoor adventures. A state renowned for its culinary delights, music, sports, and thriving communities can be the backdrop that sustains your energy and reinforces your sense of purpose.

Location Benefits: Lawrenceville sits in the greater Atlanta metro area, offering a welcoming suburban base with convenient access to big-city opportunities. You’ll enjoy top-rated schools, parks, dining, and a vibrant local scene while enjoying the comforts of a close-knit community. The region blends modern conveniences with easy access to nature, from scenic trails to weekend getaways in the foothills and beyond. For professionals who relish variety, the assignment also presents the possibility to support or rotate across multiple locations within the United States, expanding your professional horizons, expanding your professional network, and enriching your resume with diverse clinical settings and patient populations. Georgia’s rich regional flavor—from modern urban experiences to tranquil countryside—complements your clinical focus, offering a balanced backdrop that supports sustainable performance, ongoing learning, and renewed motivation between shifts.

Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Radiology CT Tech, you will perform high-quality computed tomography imaging across protocols that include standard CT and specialized scans, CT angiography, and post-processing workups, with emphasis on precise positioning, patient comfort, and dose optimization. You will operate state-of-the-art CT scanners, follow hospital and regulatory guidelines, and apply appropriate contrast administration under protocol and physician direction. Duties include preparing patients, adjusting imaging parameters for optimal resolution, performing reconstructions, reviewing images for artifacts, and ensuring accurate labeling and documentation in the PACS/RIS systems. You’ll participate in ongoing quality control, participate in departmental education, and contribute to protocol refinement to improve image quality and turnaround times. The role offers clear pathways for professional growth—from expanding expertise in advanced CT techniques and software tools to taking on leadership roles in cross-functional teams, teaching junior technologists, or engaging in CT-related quality and safety initiatives.

This opportunity comes with competitive compensation, including a weekly pay range of $2,420 to $2,545, reflecting your expertise and the responsibilities of the assignment. You may also qualify for a bonus program, alongside housing assistance designed to ease transition and relocation concerns. In addition to compensation, you’ll have extension opportunities that enable continuity of care for patients and stability for you as a traveling professional. Comprehensive support is a hallmark of the program: 24/7 assistance is available while you travel with the company, ensuring help is never far away, whether it’s for credentialing, travel logistics, or clinical questions that arise on assignment. The schedule guarantees 40 hours per week, with a commitment to reliable overtime where needed, and a defined start date of 12/22/2025 for a multi-week assignment. You’ll work within a team that prioritizes collaboration, safety, and efficiency, empowering you to deliver accurate imaging while maintaining compassion for every patient.

Company Values: Our partner organization is dedicated to empowering radiology staff through purposeful career development, mentorship, and a culture that respects work-life balance. The mission centers on advancing technologists’ expertise, supporting ongoing education through accredited programs and hands-on practice, and recognizing contributions that improve patient outcomes. You’ll join colleagues who value initiative, integrity, and teamwork, and who invest in your success with clear career pathways, constructive feedback, and a supportive environment that rewards curiosity and professional growth.
