Network Engineer

Payrate: $19.00 - $20.00/hr.

Summary: The main function of a network engineer is to determine user requirements and design specifications for computer networks. A typical network engineer is responsible for planning and implementing network upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands.
• Communicate with customers, sales staff, or marketing staff to determine customer needs.
• Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs or upgrades.
• Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems.
• Determine specific network hardware or software requirements such as platforms, interfaces, bandwidths, or routine schemas.
• Develop and implement solutions for network problems.
• Coding in C#, C++, MEL, Python, and utilizing PowerApps, Power BI, Power Automate programming.
• Familiarity with software design processes, software engineering (OOP) and Windows programming.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field required.
• 0-2 years experience required.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of how Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate interact with data sources.
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware as it relates to data storage.
• Basic knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software and internet directory services software.

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages. Packages may include medical, dental, and vision benefits, 10 paid days off, 401(k) plan participation, commuter benefits and life and disability insurance.
