Outside Sales Representative - Industrial & Material Handling
- Grow the Business: Prospect for new clients through cold calling and networking to expand the company's presence in your assigned territory.
- Consultative Selling: Analyze customer-specific needs and provide tailored equipment solutions, selling a mix of new, used, and rental material handling equipment.
- Manage Relationships: Maintain and deepen relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and renewals.
- Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date on current equipment values, market trends, and financing options to provide expert advice to your clients.
- Collaborate: Work closely with a Regional Sales Manager for strategic alignment and support on complex deals, ensuring you have the resources needed to close business.
- A proactive and results-driven individual with a minimum of 3 years of B2B outside sales experience.
- Proven ability to close complex, long-cycle deals.
- Experience in the material handling equipment industry (e.g., lift trucks, aerial lifts, racks) or a related industrial equipment or rental industry is highly preferred.
- A self-starter who can work independently in a field-based role and manage your time and territory effectively.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
