We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. As an Occupational Therapist at Journey Healthcare, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life through personalized therapy programs. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care that meets the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities
- - Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- - Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional skills.
- - Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- - Educate patients and their families on strategies to improve daily living skills and promote overall health.
- - Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- - Participate in patient care meetings and contribute to team discussions on best practices and treatment outcomes.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience in a clinical setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and their families.
