Sales Team Leader - plays a dual role of producer and coach . You will actively sell alongside the sales team while leading, motivating, and holding the team accountable to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals. This role requires strong leadership, coaching, and sales skills to drive performance and ensure the agency meets its growth objectives.

ResponsibilitiesSales Leadership -
- Lead d by example through personal production: sell auto, home, and related insurance policies while demonstrating best practices.
- Motivate, mentor, and inspire the sales team to consistently hit sales targets and performance metrics.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, roleplays, and call reviews to sharpen team skills.
- Track and communicate team performance against agency goals (talk-time, quoted households, VC items, policies sold, etc.).
Team Management -
- Provide daily structure by setting expectations for call volume, talk-time, quotes, and sales activity.
- Monitor and manage performance dashboards, CRM activity, and sales reports.
- Hold team members accountable with consistent feedback, recognition, and corrective coaching when needed.
- Assist in onboarding and training new sales producers to ensure quick ramp-up.
- Process & Compliance
- Ensure that all team members follow the agency's sales process, scripts, and compliance standards.
- Partner with agency owner to implement sales contests, recognition programs, and performance incentives.
- Work with operations and support staff to streamline quoting, binding, and follow-up processes.
Customer Experience -
- Support the team in providing a consultative sales approach focused on protecting households with the right coverage.
- Step in on escalations or complex cases to assist with securing the sale.
- Promote cross-selling and bundling to maximize customer value.
Performance Expectations -
- Lead by example with personal production while coaching the team.
- Ensure the sales team consistently meets activity metrics (calls, talk-time, quotes) and sales results (policies sold, VC items).
- Drive accountability and foster a culture of energy, tenacity, and results.
- Contribute to the overall growth and profitability of the agency.
Proven success in sales, preferably in insurance, financial services, or a performance-driven environment.
2 Years Prior leadership or mentoring experience strongly encouraged.
Excellent communication, coaching, and motivational skills.
Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
MUST possess the State OF GEORGIA Property & Casualty License.
