As a Licensed Massage Therapist, you will provide personalized therapeutic treatments focusing on client wellness and pain management. You will work within a small multidisciplinary team, administering various massage techniques such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports massages to 4-6 clients daily. This role emphasizes client assessment, effective treatment planning, and patient education, supported by meticulous record keeping and adherence to hygiene standards. Responsibilities
- Assess client conditions and tailor massage therapies accordingly
- Deliver Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and other massage techniques
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Educate clients on therapy benefits and techniques to maintain wellness
- Maintain accurate records of treatments and client progress
- Ensure proper sanitization of equipment and treatment areas
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Required Qualifications
- Completion of accredited Massage Therapy Program
- Valid State Massage Therapist License
- Current CPR Certification
- Proficiency in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage techniques
- Strong client communication skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy
- Effective time management abilities
- Experience with maintaining detailed records
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in massage therapy
