Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity in Northwest Georgia with AdventHealth

Position Overview

AdventHealth Redmond is seeking a Board-Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join our nationally recognized cardiovascular program in Northwest Georgia. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-performing, faith-based health system committed to whole-person care.

Responsibilities

1. Perform a full range of adult cardiothoracic procedures including thoracic surgeries, CABG, and valve repair/replacement
2. Help lead and grow our thoracic program throughout our Georgia market
3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, pulmonologists, and critical care physicians
4. Contribute to quality improvement and clinical outcomes initiatives

Qualifications

1. MD or DO from an accredited institution
2. Board-certified or board-eligible
3. Fellowship-trained
4. Eligible for Georgia medical licensure

AdventHealth Redmond

AdventHealth Redmond is a 230-bed facility, serving as a regional referral source for all of northwest Georgia and parts of Alabama. AdventHealth Redmond offers a full array of inpatient and outpatient programs, many of which are unique to the northwest Georgia region. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, Redmond provides a full-service cardiology product line and is nationally recognized as a top cardiac center. In addition to the Gold Seal of Approval, Redmond has also earned eight disease specific certifications from the Joint Commission for outstanding care in the areas of cardiology, stroke, orthopedic surgery, spinal surgery, and vascular surgery. Other areas of excellence include emergency care, oncology, and inpatient rehabilitation.
