Atlanta Relationship Manager

As the YBLA Atlanta Relationship Manager, your primary goal is to enhance YBLA's impact within the Atlanta community by fostering meaningful connections with a diverse array of stakeholders. Your role revolves around helping YBLA expand our membership base, secure service and engagement activities, and secure financial support through the establishment of key relationships. This involves cultivating connections with the leadership of major school districts, potential corporate sponsors, donors, and partners to expand YBLA's reach in the Atlanta market. The following delineates the specific duties and responsibilities associated with this pivotal role:

Develop relationships with school superintendents and education leaders to create recruiting partnerships with Fulton, DeKalb, Gwinnett, Cobb County, and Atlanta Public Schools, enabling YBLA to send letters or emails to qualified students. Assist the team in finding and securing a permanent meeting location, preferably through in-kind arrangements, for hosting meetings. Identify and partner with 5-6 Title 1 elementary schools to host YBLA's Toy Drive service project. Work with community leaders and organizations to initiate and set up service projects for YBLA Ambassadors, providing opportunities for positive impact in the Atlanta community. Collaborate with the leadership team to devise and execute strategic plans for expanding YBLA's reach in the Atlanta region.

• Establish and maintain systems for tracking and reporting on the success of relationship-building efforts, ensuring transparency and accountability.

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic
• Ability to develop and implement strategic plans
• Demonstrated expertise in relationship management and partnership development
• Familiarity with the Atlanta community and education landscape
• Passionate about supporting Black youth
• Available to work up to 20 hours per week
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
